Catch up on reading and writing skills—Tutor Scooter can help!

My mission is to help struggling readers and writers break through their barriers and reach grade level standards. I will do this by assessing their level, identifying their specific needs and teaching targeted lessons in reading or writing.

Students who struggle with reading—due to dyslexia or other challenges—often become frustrated and lose motivation. Individualized tutoring is essential to support them and build self-esteem. After third grade, reading becomes more academic and writing demands grow, making it harder for struggling readers and writers to keep up.

As a former upper elementary and middle school language arts and science teacher, I know how to connect with learners. It is never too late to catch up on reading and writing.
